Special Delivery Program

Special Delivery Program

Our Special Delivery Program allows you to take advantage of pre-admission to Memorial's Family Care Birthing Centers as well as other benefits.

Free Program

The Special Delivery Program is a free program offered to all patients planning to deliver at a Memorial Family Care Birthing Center. Benefits include newsletters with current information about each trimester mailed to your home, and our Special Delivery Nurse will call you during your third trimester to schedule an individualized pre-admission appointment.

Why Choose Pre-Admission?

Pre-admission to the Labor and Delivery Department is a way that we strive to ensure a smooth process during a very exciting time in your pregnancy. This is a free visit offered to all patients planning to deliver at The Family Care Birthing Center. Our Special Delivery Nurse will call you during your third trimester to schedule an individualized pre-admission appointment.

Pre-admission for The Family Care Birthing Center is most helpful to you and Labor and Delivery staff before the labor process has begun. The nurse will ask questions about your pregnancy, medical and surgical history, and family medical history, as well as discuss care options for you and your baby. Policies, procedures, and extra programs offered by the hospital will be reviewed. If this is not your first time to deliver at Memorial Hospital, pre-admission is still recommended.

How to Register

You may register for pre-admission by completing a Special Delivery Registration brochure available through your doctor's office. Registering for Childbirth Education Classes is another way to be entered into the Special Delivery Program.
